The challenge with democracy is that it is difficult for legislative bodies pulled by public whims to act decisively on climate change. Roll Call was designed by researchers at Yale and George Mason University to give graphic correlation between congressional districts and the impacts that climate change will have on them over the next 80 years. Will this model help move the US into action? What we do know is that constituents can wield impact when informed about issues. This is an exciting model for democratic engagement on an important topic.
